Crossbow Allegedly Used In Home Invasion

Battlefords RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find the suspects who allegedly attacked a couple on the Moosomin First Nation.
Police say a gun and a crossbow were used in the incident, which allegedly occurred on Jan. 17.
RCMP say several males entered a home on the Moosomin reserve, and a gun was pointed at the male occupant of the home.
He was also allegdly hit with a baseball bat and shot with an arrow from a crossbow.
A female in the residence was also allegedly assaulted.
The male victim escaped the home before ambulance personnel and police arrived on the scene.
All but one of the suspects had their faces covered.
The person whose face wasn’t covered has been arrested, and charges are pending.
RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Carole Raymond says police need the public’s help to find the other alleged culprits.
The victims are recovering from their injuries.
