Prince Albert Provincial Court is the scene of a preliminary hearing this week for five youths accused of killing a Wollaston Lake youth last fall.

The proceedings are slated to last all week, but none of the suspects can be identified.

On September 22nd, Dean Josie lost his life after reportedly being stabbed in Prime Minister’s Park.

Emergency crews responded to the incident, but were unable to save the 18-year-old.

A judge will determine if enough evidence exists to send the five accused to trial for the death.

Two of the suspects face charges of second-degree murder.

The others are charged with aggravated assault.
