Youth Pleads Guilty In Death Of Dean Josie

A youth charged with the killing of a Wollaston Lake teenager will not be going to trial.

The name of the 16 year-old cannot be released, however he recently pleaded guilty to a lesser charge for the death of Dean Josie.

Josie was fatally injured when he was swarmed by assailants near Carlton High School late one night in September of 2007.

6 people were charged in the attack, all of them young offenders.

Two pleaded guilty to charges of assault while the other 4, including the 16 year-old, have pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

A sentencing hearing for the 16 year-old will take place on June 25th.
