Young Cyclist Hit By Car On Sturgeon Lake Reserve

RCMP continue to probe an accident that took place over the weekend on the Sturgeon Lake reserve near Prince Albert.

 

At around 7:30 Saturday evening, a 10-year-old boy on a bicycle collided with a vehicle.

 

Emergency crews quickly took the boy to hospital, where he is expected to recover.

 

Most of the boy’s injuries were to his legs.

 

RCMP spokeswoman Heather Russell says no charges have been laid at this point.

 

The 20-year-old driver of the vehicle hails from Sturgeon Lake.
