Yorkton RCMP on the Look-out for Alleged Predator

The RCMP are reminding women to take steps to ensure their safety.

 

 

This, after a 19 year old woman was grabbed as she was walking to her vehicle around midnight in Yorkton a week and a half ago.

 

 

She was forced into a minivan at knife point, assaulted, and then thrown from the van.

 

 

The matter is still under investigation.

 

 

Police suggest always parking in a well lit and secure area, travelling in groups, and carrying a cellphone.

 

 

The suspect’s vehicle is described as an older style minivan in a dark colour such as navy, green or brown…very dirty with rust on the body with home-applied tinting on the back window hatch and having no seats in the rear vehicle area.
