Smudging seeds and planting fish are two ways to help your garden grow, according to a botanist and professor.

Barb Frazer hosted a workshop yesterday at the First Nations University of Canada to showcase Indigenous ways of gardening.

Frazer says traditional gardening methods show the relationship between plants and animals.

She says passing on her knowledge to others helps keep Indigenous gardening alive.
