Woman Killed in Rollover on Poundmaker Reserve

A 35-year-old woman was killed early this morning in a single vehicle rollover on the Poundmaker Cree Nation.

The RCMP says the crash took place shortly after 3 am on a grid road.

The 5 other occupants of the vehicle were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

A community round dance originally scheduled for this weekend has been postponed out of respect for the victim’s family.
