A dog attack in Wollaston Lake yesterday resulted in a two-year-old boy being airlifted to a hospital in Saskatoon.
RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Carole Raymond says the incident occurred around 3:30 yesterday afternoon.
Raymond says the two dogs involved were destroyed shortly after the attack by a neighbour who witnessed the incident.
She doesn’t believe the injuries to the youth are life-threatening, but says he will be requiring surgery.
Raymond adds the remains have been sent to a lab in Lethbridge for further tests to help determine why this incident took place.
The Mounties are attempting to find out who owned the dogs.
