Wollaston Lake Manslaughter Case Dropped

A woman from Wollaston Lake who was initially charged with manslaughter last year will not be going to trial.

35-year-old Veronique Redhead was charged last October after the body of Eddie Redhead was discovered in a Wollaston Lake home.

A preliminary hearing was held and a trial ordered.

However, a stay of proceedings was granted in Prince Albert Court of Queen’s Bench on September 19th, meaning the matter is now closed.
