Wollaston Boater Feared Dead

It doesn’t appear as though a search for a missing boater in Wollaston Lake will have a happy ending.

On Tuesday, RCMP officers found a boat used by Mike St. Pierre, floating in the water.

St. Pierre, a 30-year-old Wollaston resident, was last seen getting into the craft on Friday morning at 1 a.m.

RCMP Cpl. Bill Betker says officers are dragging the bottom of the lake, looking for St. Pierre’s body.
