Warrant Out For Lloydminster Robbery Suspect

An arrest warrant has been issued for a North Battleford man previously arrested and charged for an armed robbery in Lloydminster.

21-year-old Orville Christopher Bird was arrested and charged for the armed robbery of a woman at a Lloydminster business in April of last year.

Bird was committed for trial in Provincial Court and began a Court of Queen’s Bench trial on the robbery matters in St. Paul, Alberta on September 29th.

However, Bird failed to return to court the following day, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest in both Saskatchewan and Alberta.
