Wall In La Ronge To Address High School Students

The premier will be in La Ronge today.

Brad Wall will help open up a youth conference that’s being put on by the Visions North Community Futures Development Corporation for Grade 11 and 12 students in northern Saskatchewan.

It is believed to be Wall’s first official visit to the northern community since he became premier in the fall.

The conference includes workshops to inspire students to start thinking about financial planning and their future education.

Visions North spokesman Bill Hogan says some other fairly big names will also be in attendance — including financial planning consultant Lesley Scorgie, who was once featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show.

Students who will be attending were chosen by their schools.
