Underage Driver Involved In Fatal Rollover

Police are saying a 15-year-old was driving a vehicle that crashed north of Regina over the weekend, claiming the life of a man from the Piapot area.

The minivan driven by the youth rolled into a ditch three miles north of the city on the Winnipeg extension early Saturday afternoon.

39-year-old Ralph Dwight Blacksioux was pronounced dead at the scene, while seven others who were thrown from the vehicle are in hospital with undetermined injuries.

According to the Mounties, there were two women and six men in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

The RCMP say they are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
