Two men are facing second degree murder charges in relation to a death on the Kawacatoose First Nation.

Twenty-year-old Joseph James Kay and 28-year-old William Wayne Kay face the charges, following the death of a 27-year-old man on Kawacatoose.

SGT Carole Raymond with the RCMP says both men are headed to court. Joseph Kay has already appeared once before the courts, and his next court appearance is set for some time next week.

His co-accused, William Kay, turned himself in to the Broadview RCMP around 11:30 last night. He will appear in court on Monday.

The 27-year-old victim was taken to hospital in Wynyard and was later transported to Regina General Hospital, due to the serious nature of his injuries.

He died yesterday morning.

An autopsy is scheduled for today.
