Several Aboriginal businesses, including one owned by the English River First Nation in northern Saskatchewan, are being recognized for their success.

A report released Tuesday by the Conference Board of Canada profiles 10 Aboriginal-owned businesses across Canada.

One of the businesses profiled is Tron Power Inc., which is based in Saskatoon but owned by the English River band.

Ashley Sisco, a research associate with the Conference Board, says Tron Power has been really good at sharing their knowledge with the community.

The report highlights success factors such as good leadership and sound business practices.
