A two-week trial has been scheduled for March for a 38-year-old man accused of killing an elder on the Mistawasis First Nation.

From March 16th to the 23rd, Vincent Roderick Dreaver will appear before a judge and jury in Prince Albert for allegedly causing the death of 81-year-old Antoine Sand.

Dreaver was charged with second-degree murder after Sand was found fatally injured outside a home in August of last year.

Local Mounties say the elder was the victim of a stabbing.
