A trial date has been set for an outfitter and four guides accused of supporting illegal hunting activities in the Cumberland House area.

Gary Carriere, Delvin Laliberte, Cory McKenzie, Claude Dussion and Donald Fiddler were all charged back in the fall of 2003 with dozens of charges related to wildlife harvesting.

The arrests came after a two-year investigation by Environment Canada and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service landed four American Hunters in hot water for alleged hunting abuses.

The alleged incidents concerned the shooting of waterfowl.

The trial is scheduled to take place on March 14th in Cumberland House.
