Two men accused of killing another man in Pelican Narrows almost a year ago have been committed to stand trial.

The decision was made last month after a judge in Prince Albert reviewed the evidence in the case.

31-year-old Oliver James Dorion and 32-year-old Darren Lee Dorion are both facing a charge of second-degree murder.

They were arrested following the death of James Ballantyne on March 26th.

Ballanynte was found fatally injured outside a home on the reserve early that morning.

Trial dates have not been set yet — but the case will be heard in Court of Queen’s Bench in Prince Albert.
