Trial Date Set In Weyakwin Hit And Run Case

A Weyakwin man accused in a fatal hit-and-run accident will go to trial on April 5th.

 

25-year-old Delwin Ross is charged with impaired driving causing death, dangerous driving causing death and hit and run.

 

The body of 39-year-old Brian Wesley LaVallee was discovered on First Beach at Weyakwin Lake on August 19th, 2006.

 

Ross was charged earlier this month after a lengthy investigation by the RCMP.

 

His trial will be held in Montreal Lake.
