Two men facing a total of nine charges of vote buying on the Red Pheasant First Nation are due back in court July 30th.
Former Red Pheasant First Nation Chief Charles Meechance faces seven charges of buying votes to get elected as chief.
Bert Benson faces two charges of vote buying to get Meechance elected.
The case was adjourned to July 30th for two reasons — to give Meechance time to obtain a lawyer.
And for the defence to get a look at the Crown’s evidence.
