Treaty 10 Commemoration In High Gear

Federal and provincial government officials are in Patuanak today to officially recognize the 100th anniversary of the signing of Treaty 10.

The English River First Nation has been hosting festivities associated with the Treaty 10 commemoration for the last several days.

Provincial cabinet ministers Buckley Belanger and Maynard Sonntag are among the dignitaries on hand for today’s celebration.

Last week, the community hosted a national Denesuline gathering.
