Transwest Air has finalized preparations for this year’s Santa Claus trip to the far north.

Old Saint Nick will visit the communities of Wollaston, Fond du Lac, Black Lake and Stony Rapids on December 9th.

Nelson Bird of CTV’s Indigenous Circle will also be along for the ride.

Marketing manager for Transwest Air, Greg Sproat, says this year’s gifts will be even better than last year, due to generous donations.

Among the donations was a $5,000 cheque presented today by the Northern Lights Community Development Corporation.

Santa’s first stop will be at the Wollaston terminal at 10:00 a.m.

After that he visits airports at Fond du lac, Stony Rapids, and finally Father Porte school at Black Lake.
