People living in northern and rural parts of the province will now have easier access to business training.
This morning, the federal government announced nearly $270,000 to pay for video conferencing in those areas to provide entrepreneurial training to anyone who wants to open up their own business.
Conservative MP Maurice Vellacott made the announcement in Saskatoon today on behalf of Western Economic Diversification.
Vellacott says WED and its project partners recently identified a “gap” in this type of training in Saskatchewan.
Fifteen video conference sites will be set up immediately throughout rural and northern Saskatchewan.
