Traffic Slowly Tricking Through Northern Highway

The clean-up continues on Highway 102 between Stanley Mission and Sucker River following the oveturning of a fuel tanker early yesterday morning.

That stretch of highway was shut down all of yesterday, but was temporarily re-opened this morning.

Saskatchewan Highways says it will now be closed periodically throughout the day.

Spokesperson Jan Olsen says they will be piloting vehicles through, but those that attempt to use the road can expect delays of up to three hours.

Olsen says they hope the site will be cleaned up by supper time.
