Tip Leads To Arrest Of Alleged Mistawasis Predator

A man charged with six counts of sexual assault on a Saskatchewan reserve is due to appear in a Prince Albert courtroom Friday morning.

Devon Shane Brandon was apprehended yesterday in Lloydminster after the Mounties had issued a Canada-wide warrant for his arrest.

Sgt. Joanne Derworiz says the 25-year-old is accused of committing the offences on the Mistawasis First Nation.

Derworiz says it was a tip from the public that led to Brandon’s capture without incident.

Brandon is facing charges in other provinces on other matters, as well.
