Thousands of people from across North America will be gathering in Saskatoon this weekend for the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations’ annual pow wow.

A weekend of traditional First Nations song and dance kicks off at the Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon at 7:00 tonight.

FSIN Vice-Chief Lyle Whitefish invites everyone, First Nations people and non-First Nations people, to attend an event that he says instills a lot of pride in the First Nations population.

An estimated 10,000 people attend the pow wow each year.
