Authorities at the Prince Albert airport say no one was injured last night during an incident with a northern aircraft.

Spokesperson Gail Summerfeldt says a small Cessna plane was coming from Sandy Bay when it lost power in an engine, 40 minutes out of Prince Albert.

The pilot, who was by himself, managed to get his craft all the way to the airport and touched down safely.

Crews are now examining the plane.
