An 18-year-old male accused of three murders on the Montreal Lake reserve has waived his right to a preliminary hearing.
That means a trial date will likely be announced sometime relatively soon.
The youth, who still can’t be identified, also elected to be tried by judge alone.
He is due to appear next week in Prince Albert Court of Queen’s Bench.
The suspect is accused of killing two men and one woman — all under the age of 30 — in March.
