Teenaged Murder Suspect Back in Court

A teenaged suspect in the killing of a man in Grandmother’s Bay last summer is back in a La Ronge courtroom today.

The youth is facing a charge of second degree murder in connection to the stabbing death of 24-year-old Michael C. Ballantyne.

Two other teenagers that were also facing charges of second degree murder in this incident have have had their charges reduced to assault.

Both have been committed to stand trial.
