Police in Saskatoon have arrested a 16-year-old youth in connection with the shooting death of a woman in the city last month.

The youth can’t be named, due to his age.

He faces one count of second-degree murder.

According to police, the suspect was arrested this morning at Kilburn Hall, where he was being held on unrelated charges.

Charlotte Jolly, 19, lost her life on Sept. 1, after a confrontation in Saskatoon’s downtown area.

It has been alleged gangs were involved in the incident.
