Teen Killed In Rollover Involving Stolen Truck

A 15-year-old boy was killed in a single vehicle rollover on the Moosomin First Nation early yesterday morning.

The name of the dead youth has not yet been released.

Police believe the truck involved was stolen.

Battlefords Rural RCMP were called to the scene at about 7:15 a.m. on Sunday.

Four males were pinned when the vehicle flipped over.

Residents helped emergency crews push the truck back up to release the occupants.

Two passengers were rushed to hospital –- one to North Battleford and the other to Saskatoon.

Police have not yet said whether alcohol was involved or whether charges will be laid.
