Sweetgrass Band Member Dies In Crash

The May 30th head-on collision between a car and semi-trailer truck, near the town of Borden, claimed the life of a Sweetgrass First Nation band member.

Mounties say 24 year old Melissa Albert was a passenger in a car that collided with a lumber hauler.

The 24 year old female driver from Saskatoon and a second 24 year old woman from the Sweetgrass First Nation were both taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

No other details are available at this time as the investigation is continuing.
