A preliminary hearing is being held this week in Saskatoon for a BC man accused of killing a 21-year-old Aboriginal woman four years ago.

The remains of Victoria Jane Nashacappo were discovered on the outskirts of Saskatoon this past summer.

Nashacappo was reported missing on September 25th, 2002 after leaving her west side home.

It is believed that 57-year-old Brian Robert Casement killed her on or around the same day she went missing.

Casement’s preliminary hearing is scheduled to wrap up on Thursday.
