Students Attend Entrepreneurs Conference In PA

Some high school students in Prince Albert got the chance to see what small business was all about this week.

A conference on starting up your own business venture was staged by the city’s Regional Economic Development Authority.

Vickie Newmeyer is an industry expert who was brought in to speak to the kids. She says the whole point of the event was to plant seeds into the teenager’s minds about how to create their own jobs or be better employees.

Newmeyer says there is growing room for entrepreneurs in the market place and it’s important today’s youth realize that.
