Stony Rapids Man Victim of Stabbing in La Ronge

The La Ronge RCMP is looking for a suspect in connection to a stabbing in the community over the weekend.

At about 9:30 Friday evening, a 39-year-old man from Stony Rapids received multiple stab wounds from an unknown assailant in the bush behind the local co-op store.

The victim was able to walk to a local bar for help.

He is currently recovering in a Saskatoon hospital with what police are describing as non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation continues.
