The provincial government is getting ready to release the final report from the inquiry looking into the freezing death of an Aboriginal teenager.

Neil Stonechild’s frozen body was found on the outskirts of Saskatoon in November 1990.

Some people believe the police had something to do with his death, which is why the justice department decided to call the inquiry.

The inquiry began last fall and wrapped up this past spring.

It heard from several witnesses, including a number of current and former police officers.

Justice Minister Frank Quennell has scheduled a news conference this coming Tuesday in Saskatoon, where he will release the inquiry’s findings.
