STC Bus Service Coming To The West Side

Highways Minister Buckley Belanger says a weekly scheduled service will start next spring.

It will connect La Loche, Buffalo Narrows, Ile a-la Crosse and Beauval with Prince Albert.

STC is waiting until the spring to allow time to find a local partner and develop local agencies in the communities.

Belanger says residents of the northwest have been asking for this service for a long time now.

He says it will go a long way toward addressing regional isolation.
