A memorial for Amber Redman is being held on the Standing Buffalo Dakota First Nation today.
The memorial started this morning at the Standing Buffalo school, and includes volleyball and basketball tournaments that run all day.
As well, a feast in her honour was held over the noon hour.
It was four years ago today that Redman went missing at a bar in Fort Qu’Appelle.
Her remains were found almost three years later on the Little Black Bear First Nation.
Albert Patrick Bellegarde was charged with her murder and sentenced to life in prison last January.
