Stabbing Spree in La Ronge

A 16-year-old boy is in police custody following a string of stabbings in the La Ronge area over the weekend.

RCMP were called to a reserve residence early Saturday morning after reports that 3 people had been stabbed.

A 35-year-old male was taken to a Saskatoon hospital for treatment.

The two other victims were also taken to hospital for treatment — their condition is unknown.

The suspect is scheduled to appear in a La Ronge court today and faces 3 charges of aggravated assault.
