Stabbing In La Loche Drawing Lots Of Attention

Police detachments from Saskatoon, Edmonton, Fort McMurray and La Loche are investigating a near-fatal stabbing in northwest Saskatchewan.
At around 12:30 Sunday morning, the Mounties received an anonymous tip of an aggravated assault in a parking lot of a business in La Loche.
RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Carole Raymond says officers discovered a wounded 30-year-old man when they got to the scene.
She says the man was airlifted to hospital in Fort McMurray and then transferred to Edmonton.
He is listed in critical but stable condition.
