St. George’s Hill Shooting Suspect In Court

A northern Saskatchewan man accused of aggravated assault with a firearm will remain in custody until his next court appearance in the New Year.
34-year-old Gerald Montgrand was charged following an incident early Saturday morning in which a 37-year-old woman from St. George’s Hill suffered a gunshot wound to her face at a cabin in the area.
Montgrand will return to court on January 7th for a bail hearing.
The woman underwent surgery for her injuries, and is expected to make a full recovery.
