Southend Man Dies In ATV Accident

A 28-year-old man was killed in an ATV crash early this morning in Southend.
The RCMP say the man had been going northbound along a roadway when he appeared to lose control of the ATV and crashed into several large fence posts.
The driver was the lone person on the ATV and died at the scene of the crash.
An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death.
The investigation is continuing.
The victim’s name is not being released until next of kin have been notified — but the Mounties say he was a resident of Southend.
