A 37-year-old man from Southend faces two counts of attempted murder following an incident early yesterday morning in La Ronge.
The RCMP say they were called to a reserve residence in the community shortly before 4:00 am yesterday, where they found two men who needed medical attention.
A 35-year-old man from La Ronge and a 32-year-old man from Southend were eventually taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
The Mounties say the suspect was one of two men they initially took into custody for questioning.
However, the other man has been released and won’t be charged.
The man in custody will make his first court appearance tomorrow in La Ronge.
