Southbeach Homes Signs Deal With Manitoba Reserve

A northern business is signing a new partnership deal with a Manitoba First Nation today.

Southbeach Homes is teaming up with the Waywayseecappo First Nation to create a new joint venture in the Ready to Move Home industry.

Southbeach general manager Clifford Bird says they will help the Manitoba band create their own housing-plant while they provide the expertise.

Bird says the deal is similar to how first nations used to do business in the old days, when one band would show another a new skill.

Today’s signing is taking place on Montreal Lake First Nation.
