The Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies signed an agreement with SIAST today that will see new curriculum being developed and shared.

SIIT President Ray Ahenakew says welding and pipefitting will be target areas, as those industries need workers.

Ahenakew says SIIT students may now take classes at SIAST, and vice versa.

Credits from both institutions will also be applicable at the other.
