A responsible gaming strategy for Saskatchewan’s Indian-owned casinos is scheduled to be released next month.

The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority is in the process of finalizing the details.

SIGA spokesperson Pat Cook says the strategy will involve the development of a new policy, the training of casino workers, and the establishment of responsible gaming information centres at the casinos.

Cook attended last week’s Canadian Gaming Summit in Toronto. She says it’s clear this issue has got the attention of the entire gaming industry.

Cook says SIGA’s responsible gaming strategy will be released in late-June.
