Fourteen First Nations students now have a little less to worry about when it comes to paying for their post-secondary education.

The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority announced today $25,000 worth of scholarships, including two for $5000.

Jennifer Campeau of the Yellow Quill First Nation received one of them.

As a single mother, she was worried about the cost of getting her MBA — but says the scholarship makes a big difference.

Campeau also says it means so much to be recognized by her own people.

Gabrielle Scrimshaw of Duck Lake won the other $5000 scholarship.

There were also two $2500 scholarships awarded, as well as ten $1000 scholarships.
