Settlements Pick New Advisory Councils

New local advisory councils have been elected in several northern settlements.
Dean Classen won the the chairmanship for Uranium City, with 30 votes. Former chair Harold Grasley got 12 votes, and Margaret Powder got 11.
Over in Camsell Portage, Claire Larocque was elected by acclamation.
In the central area, Dennis McLeod is now chair for Stanley Mission, after former chair John Tarves refused the nomination.
Eugene McLeod is back as chair in Brabant Lake, while Steve Potvin won in Southend.
The LAC chairs and their councils will advise the provincial government about local concerns for the next three years.
