A man convicted of killing a 62-year-old woman in Dillon will have his sentence handed down next week in Meadow Lake.

53-year-old Paul Montgrand pleaded guilty last month to taking the life of Carol Riviere.

Her body was found outside a school in the community back in February.

Montgrand was due in court this week in Buffalo River to deal with the matter.

But the case has been adjourned until Monday, when it will be dealt with in Meadow Lake Provincial Court.

He faces one count of manslaughter, after prosecutors agreed to reduce his original charge of second-degree murder in exchange for his guilty plea.
