Senior Seriously Burned In Air Ronge Fire

An elderly man was severely burned in a shed fire yesterday in Air Ronge.
La Ronge fire chief Ron Pratt says the cause is under investigation, but they do know the accident involved a flammable liquid.
The mishap occurred shortly before noon yesterday in a shop behind a residence.
Pratt says the man was still on fire when some neighbours came upon the scene.
They doused the victim and the shed with water from a garden hose, before fire crews arrived and mopped up the scene.
The victim’s condition is not known. His identity hasn’t been released.
